SENIOR MINISTER                          

David  began full time ministry as an Assistant Pastor in Hertford Baptist in September 2009 having finished the Theological training at Moorlands College, prior to this training David worked in the City of London in the printing industry  over a period of 5 years .
David has been serving at Beulah Baptist Church as Associate Pastor from 2014 to 2018, alongside senior pastor, Graham Holliday who retired from ministry in 2018. During this time together with Graham, various inititatives (inside and outside the church) were the outcome of a fruitful and meaningful relationship. 
David is married to Caroline who also worked it the City
 of London.  Caroline is an amazing wife and Mum who loves God and is involved in the life of the church.

Gareth started volunteering as a youth worker shortly after becoming a Christian in 1997 when he was working as a warehouse operative for several years. He quickly got interested in sharing hid newfound faith with young
in the youth group. Then started reaching out to local skaters and young people using sports and community youth group activities.
The Church he was volunteering with recognised his gifting and employed him full time in 2006, and he completed his youth and community work training at Ridley hall Cambridge. He has been full-time youth worker since then working with Youth For Christ and Church outreach initiatives and more recently an Anglican  Church plat in Oxford. He is originally from Hitchin Hertfordshire where his family still lives around the area, he has two brothers and a sister and some nieces and nephews whom he loves spending time with when he can.
He also enjoys spending time with his friends playing sports or playing board games and going to the gym. In addition to the essential safeguarding and first aid training, Gareth has qualifications in both mentoring and councilling. He works relationally with young people.
"I'm a people,  not a project person," he said at interview. He wants to help "young people to develope a deeper relationship with  Jesus and work with them to reach out to their friends and bring transformaion to the Community" his personal statement reads "I am very passionate about working with young people and genuinely care about them and thier needs, and I seek to work to the best of my ability to help them and provide the best support and guidence I can" Garethhas been involved with Community youth since 1999 and has since 2006. Employed by Anglican and independant evangelical Church es and Youth for Christ, he has organised schools projects and as a mentor for young people. he has worked with local council and community organisations to run fun days and clean up projects. Gareth is a sports lover, with FA level 1 coaching badgeand has worked with the professional football club Burton Albion to plan and run after-school clubs, suporting and resourcing animation and other creative projects. Most recently he has been working on an outreach project to engage young people on a large housing estate

  Elders & Deacons

Karline began her future ministry as the Beulah Family Worker in April 2020, after being a teacher for twenty years.  She graduated from Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education in 2000 and has taught in London, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Bexhill.  She is currently following a training course with Spurgeon College.
Karline passionately believes that God was preparing her all along for this current position.  God led them to Bexhill and more specifically to Beulah to be an active part of this church family and be willing vessels for God’s love in their spiritual home.  She feels it is her honour and privilege to serve God through Beulah and the wider community.
Karline has been married for 16 years to Braam, who is part of the worship team.  He joins her in being an active part of our church family.  They have 3 sons, Chris, Braam and Harry and they enjoy taking long walks, swimming in the sea and having BBQs.
  Beulah is also served by a team of elected Elders and Deacons who take special responsibility for specific areas of church life.

Sue Matthews has been the Administrator at Beulah since 2005. She and her husband Paul are members at Beulah and have a daughter, Rosie. 

Sue gained a BA (Hons) in Business Studies at Leicester and has worked for Christian organisations in an administrative capacity ever since. She worked for Christian Aid as PA to the Director prior to having Rosie, and whilst at Christian Aid was seconded to work for 2 years as Administrator for the Christian Conference of Asia.
  Peter Wilson took up the post of Caretaker from 1st April 2016. He has been married to Susan Wilson for 49 years and they have two children, Tracey and Robert and five grandchildren, Rhiannon, Jamie, Enya, Keira and Spencer.
Also One Great Grandchild, Amelia.
Peter and Susan joined Beulah in September 2004. Susan was baptised in Easter 2005.  Peter baptised Christmas day 2005.  
Peter is a keen photographer and loves to do small video clips. Keen on PowerPoint and Web page editing.
He has also carried out several charity events.
European Challenge in 2005 covering 14 countries in a week for the charity "St Michael's Hospice" new ward appeal.
Abseiling from Ocean House, St Leonards-on-Sea in 2014 for "The Sara Lee Trust".
Abseiling from the Forth Rail Bridge in June 2016 for "Chest Heart & Stroke of Scotland".    
Abseiling from Emirates Spinnaker Tower Portsmouth in May 2018 for "Royal Marsden Cancer Charity"

Abseiling from Brighton i360  tower in September 2020 for St Michaels Hospice Hastings.
